Repeat Prescriptionsorange_pills

When you need to take medicines regularly the doctor or nurse may put them on repeat prescription. If so you will then have a tear off slip listing these medicines. You can request further supplies by ticking the items you require and either:

  • posting the slip to the practice, either for collecting or with a stamped address envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
  • dropping the slip in for collection or delivery to the pharmacy of your choice.
  • handing the slip to one of the local pharmacies who will arrange to collect the prescription on your behalf
  • Alternatively you can now order online by following the link at the top of this page and carrying out a simple registration.

If you require further advice please ask at reception. Please note that prescriptions cannot be ordered by telephone.

Please do not order repeat perscriptions unless you actually need them. Only tick the items on your repeat slip which you actually require.

Remember, the pharmacists can give you lots of advice about your medicines.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor or practice nurse at 6-12 month intervals, (dependant on medication and how the problem is controlled), to review these regular medications.

48_hoursPlease allow a full 48 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays) between requesting and collecting your prescription.
